Damian Marin came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. Nicasio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Nicasio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Tirso in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Humberto Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Matias Boniel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicasio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Anselmo Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VAMO ARRIBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Humberto Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Marin made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Anselmo Santo sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, VAMO ARRIBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Kaiet to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to VAMO ARRIBA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tomás Kaiet hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Boniel made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Characate FC's Matias Boniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicasio Loco. Nicasio Loco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Ramond in the 61st minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Damian Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Joel Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Baldomero Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Anselmo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Gaspar Gora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Anselmo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Fernan Pelayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Venancio Pacorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Nicasio Loco made a huge save. When Anselmo Santo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the VAMO ARRIBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Santo couldn't finish the play. Damian Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Ramond in the 91st minute of the match. Amancio Cruz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Characate FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
