The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Teo Hanni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético y Tiro Rqta from getting a goal against them. Angelo Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Martin Gaueko got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Baltasar Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Guifre in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Atlético y Tiro Rqta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Vermudo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Teo Hanni 30 minutes into the match. Rene Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Saturnino Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Orlo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Orlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Bernardino Orlo got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Rene Maiorga. In the 43rd match minute, Social y Dep. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Ireno to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Atlético y Tiro Rqta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Social y Dep. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Ireno to maneuver through the defense. When Mauro Vermudo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Social y Dep. Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Vermudo couldn't finish the play. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Rene Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Epifanio Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Guifre in the 74th minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Higinio Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Rene Maiorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Angel Guifre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Higinio Maule. That made the score 3-1 in the 78 minute of play. If Rene Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Mauro Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Epifanio Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Social y Dep. Patagonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Crescencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Hanni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Martin Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Maule came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Angel Guifre. But to his dismay, Angel Guifre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Social y Dep. Patagonia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
