The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Atlético y Tiro Rqta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Manni in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Hanni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Taurino charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Taurino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Filomeno Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Guifre in the 16th minute of play. Pastor Valerio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Pastor Valerio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Teo Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Valerio in the 34th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Guifre to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Martin Gaueko got a free kick in the 50th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Nereo Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Manni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nereo Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Teo Hanni managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Nereo Manni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Filomeno Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Guifre in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Guifre came free, but Filomeno Atarrabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's zone, Martin Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Atarrabi came out of the goal and Martin Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Clemente Beila got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jairo Frantzes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Filomeno Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético y Tiro Rqta. After 80 played minutes Pastor Valerio rounded Atlético y Tiro Rqta's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. The supporters of Atlético y Tiro Rqta booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Guifre scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Atarrabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chants of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Atlético y Tiro Rqta had held the ball for most of the match.
