Carlos Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nicasio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Cayetano Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 36 in the game by Anselmo Santo from a close distance when the talented Prospero Matxin managed to make a qualified save. 17 de enero team's players were relieved. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. VAMO ARRIBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 17 de enero team the free kick. Bernabe Paez made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VAMO ARRIBA's Cayetano Lugo. After 73 minutes of play, VAMO ARRIBA's Anselmo Santo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Carlos Frascuelo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 17 de enero team's protests and gave Carlos Frascuelo a yellow card for diving instead. Nicasio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Millano in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as 17 de enero team's Carlos Frascuelo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicasio Loco. That made the score 3-2 after 95 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the 17 de enero team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VAMO ARRIBA.
