Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Saul Montez took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Llanos got free with Jairo Alonso in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the game, Saul Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Alonso. Saul Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Saul Montez came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lyons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Montez couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Evangelista in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Celestino Evangelista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Rainerio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th match minute, Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Maule to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Celestino Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Rainerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Palermo AFC's Jairo Alonso got control of the ball when Salvador Maule tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 played minutes Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Peter. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Clodoveo Rodriguez hit a great ball. If Clodoveo Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lyons's zone, Celestino Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Rainerio came out of the goal and Celestino Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lyons's Abelardo Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lyons from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lyons getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rene Pelagius hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Saul Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Llanos in the 65th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Chuse to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lyons booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Lyons's Salvador Maule sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Alonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teodosio Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Rainerio having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Lyons's goalkeeper Abelardo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodosio Stanislao. Celestino Evangelista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Rainerio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Palermo AFC's Clodoveo Rodriguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Rainerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Jairo Alonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Llanos in the 86th minute of play. Celestino Evangelista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Abelardo Rainerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Palermo AFC booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Palermo AFC's Celestino Evangelista in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyons's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Llanos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Alonso. Palermo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Llanos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
