The audience was convinced that Saul Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Jago was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14thth minute of the game Saul Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Còrdoba FC's Igor Jago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came free, but Abelardo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Montez in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Llanos in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Jago saved Real Còrdoba FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Marcelo Jakue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Jakue's late challenge caught a Lyons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Jakue helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lyons booed when Real Còrdoba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lyons's zone, Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Rainerio came out of the goal and Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Lyons's goalkeeper Abelardo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Loramendi. Abelardo Rainerio came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Còrdoba FC's Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri. But to his dismay, Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Montez in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Jago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Frascuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Frascuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Còrdoba FC booed when Lyons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio-Di-Domenico Echeverri made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aristides Perpinya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Lyons's Igor Jago threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Montez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Real Còrdoba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Saul Montez scored to the left of an out of position Igor Jago, making the score, 2-1. When Lyons's Saul Montez in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
