An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Evangelista in the 10th minute of play forced Freestyle futbol club's goalkeeper Teodoro Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Harriet having to interfere. Palermo AFC's Celestino Evangelista got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Freestyle futbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Orixe to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Alonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Tulio in the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Freestyle futbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Evangelista came free, but Teodoro Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Orixe hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Freestyle futbol club's Angel Tulio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Alonso. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. 46 minutes into the match, Victorio Orixe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Alonso. Palermo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Orixe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Celestino Evangelista made the kick off in the second half. Palermo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Octavio Frascuelo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodoro Harriet, passed just outside the right post. Freestyle futbol club's Teodoro Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Evangelista in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Celestino Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Evangelista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Harriet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celestino Evangelista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Harriet when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
