In the 5thth minute of the game Geronimo Aritza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlethico Talleres's Anibal Nalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernabe Arano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Iztal in the 12th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Telmo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Telmo. If Ernesto Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CERPA's Amador Balesio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Juan Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlethico Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Iztal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 45thth minute of the game Geronimo Aritza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlethico Talleres's Anibal Nalo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

CERPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlethico Talleres the free kick. After 58 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Pagomari. After 65 minutes, Geronimo Aritza made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlethico Talleres's Anibal Nalo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmar Valente hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. CERPA's Silverio Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Geronimo Aritza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anibal Nalo. That made the score 1-3 in the 79 minute of play. Geronimo Aritza had several of the Club Atlethico Talleres's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Anibal Nalo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Anibal Nalo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Geronimo Aritza sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlethico Talleres's Anibal Nalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlethico Talleres from getting a goal against them. After 94 minutes of play, CERPA's Geronimo Aritza made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Nalo was left in no man's land by his defense there!
