After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Serafin Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. CERPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Eriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Geronimo Aritza lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Pastor Eriz. CERPA's Serafin Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernabe Arano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Diagur went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, CERPA's Victoriano Telmo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. When Delmar Valente fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERPA's protests and gave Delmar Valente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Delmar Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes, Serafin Luke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CERPA and the Liberland players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The CERPA fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when CERPA's Geronimo Aritza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Liberland's Pastor Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Aritza in the 55th minute of play. Amador Balesio charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Balesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amador Balesio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A hard shot 59 in the game by Roman Seguinus from a close distance when the talented Bernabe Arano managed to make a qualified save. CERPA's players were relieved. In the 60th minute Marcos Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liberland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERPA the free kick. 80 minutes into the match, Victoriano Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pastor Eriz. Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Bernabe Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Seguinus in the 85th minute of play. After 89 played minutes CERPA got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Valente. With a little luck, CERPA's Bernabe Arano got control of the ball when Roman Seguinus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Liberland booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liberland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CERPA.
