Eriberto Hanni charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Hanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Boquenses defense, Simon Isidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Venceslas. The Boquenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Venceslas should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Michael in the 62nd minute of play forced Boquenses's goalkeeper Fausto Venceslas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Fausto Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goalkeeper Sebastian Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Dubardo. Aves Negras's Sebastian Torrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Aves Negras from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Maties kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastian Torrico. That made the score 3-2 in the 78 minute of play. Aves Negras's Sebastian Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Dubardo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Amado Crescencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Simon Isidor fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aves Negras's protests and gave Simon Isidor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aves Negras's Simon Isidor got a free kick in the 86th minute. Victor Pero hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Aves Negras's Sebastian Torrico got control of the ball when Vladimiro Theodore tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Aves Negras were victorious despite being under pressure from Boquenses for much of the match.
