The Madison fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Michael should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Birjaio got free with Jeremias Michael in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulises Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Ubarna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Madison's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
