An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Luix in the 19th minute of play forced Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Teodosio Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Salomon's late challenge caught a Alvarado de Mar del Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 43rd minute Cesar Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Hegoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Luix might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Macerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position.
