After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Calamar Saavedra's zone, Americo Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Gilen came out of the goal and Americo Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Igon in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Macerio saved Alvarado de Mar del Plata from getting behind. With a little luck, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Teodosio Macerio got control of the ball when Silvio Miro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jonatan Igon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teodosio Macerio. Teodosio Macerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 37 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Columbo. Aquilino Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Gilen having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Jenaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Peruanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Iker Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Rioja was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Calamar Saavedra fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! Fernando Eleazar walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 66th match minute, Alvarado de Mar del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Guaberto Peruanton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Macerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Silvio Miro hit a great ball. Leandro Florin's late challenge caught a Atletico Calamar Saavedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Florin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Alvarado de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Jonatan Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Igon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Diego Gonchan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Leandro Florin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Guaberto Peruanton, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Alvarado de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Peruanton struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Teodosio Macerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Calamar Saavedra. In the 94th minute, Teodosio Columbo made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Macerio. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Calamar Saavedra fully deserved thier win.
