Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Hug started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Baldomero Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alejandro Tavio fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Alejandro Tavio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alejandro Tavio hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Emilio Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahía é Carnaval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bahía é Carnaval! Hernan Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Aztore hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Baldomero Iraitz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Victor Ordono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hernan Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manuel Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea Football Club's protests and gave Manuel Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Bahía é Carnaval's Hernan Checa got control of the ball when Victor Ordono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bahía é Carnaval's Hernan Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Henry in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Ordono made a kick off. Victor Ordono might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Checa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Ordono ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tobias Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Checa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Emilio Hug recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislao Osoitz. Emilio Hug showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Manuel Henry scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Checa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Chelsea Football Club's Victor Ordono in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahía é Carnaval's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Bahía é Carnaval's Antonio Maria got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Victor Ordono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Hernan Checa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillermo Ramone struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ladislao Osoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahía é Carnaval. In the 85th minute Victor Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Checa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
