Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Saul Beltza got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Saul Beltza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jakue came out of the goal and Saul Beltza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th minute, Emiliano Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Umbruso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Amador Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Abar to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Marco Umbruso. In the 12th minute, Everardo Loi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Oscar Barto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Jakue showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emiliano Faro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cecilio Garci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Louis got free with Cecilio Garci in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amador Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Leon Platense's Siro Damario in 29 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Amador Jakue guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Leon Platense fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Leon Platense's Siro Damario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 35th minute of the match, Alejo Louis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cecilio Garci was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amador Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Abel Neron got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Esteve Abar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Garci skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alejo Louis made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Siro Damario. Leones FC were furious when Godfredo Ascencio was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With his leg Amador Jakue managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Leon Platense's Saul Beltza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Martin Rami hit a great ball. Saul Beltza in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amador Jakue, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oscar Barto's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Barto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Leon Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Barto to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Ciro Ferdinand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones FC and the Leon Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leon Platense's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
