The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casimiro Bihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teobaldo Tartalo's late challenge caught a Bahía é Carnaval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Tartalo helped the player get up and apologised. Bahía é Carnaval's Alejandro Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SuperChango's Casimiro Bihar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Teobaldo Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes in the game Saturnino Asteri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sergio Sadurni. Fabricio Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leandro Emeterio hit a great ball. When Casimiro Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SuperChango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Bihar couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Emilio Hug got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Bihar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Hug. In the 57th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Sotero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Hug, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The throw-in from Saturnino Asteri in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SuperChango's Teobaldo Tartalo. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Moises Favila got a free kick in the 86th minute. Alejandro Tavio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Tavio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bahía é Carnaval getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alejandro Tavio hit a great ball. The supporters of Bahía é Carnaval booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes, Nemesio Cefero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperChango and the Bahía é Carnaval players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Bahía é Carnaval were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SuperChango to leave the ground with a draw.
