Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Isusko started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Hegoi. In the 7th match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Oidor to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Ilazki. After 16 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Raymon. Siro Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aurelio Mikolas made a huge save. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cayetano Gora hit a great ball. Siro Damario hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Raymond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick. In the 26th minute, Ambrosio Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Isusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Simon Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cecilio Garci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Platense's Cecilio Garci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Bixintxo in the 35th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Zeledon Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Beltza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Beltza to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Saul Beltza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Mikolas was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 54 minutes, Adrian Quin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leon Platense and the Sportivo Mela Banco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Adrian Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Garci made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Jesus Bixintxo sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Garci stood somewhat misplaced when Simon Isusko came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 65 minute. In the 72nd minute Saul Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Mikolas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Jesus Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Mela Banco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Mela Banco played a much better game than Leon Platense and deserved their victory. The Leon Platense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
