The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Frisco got free with Serafino Vachon in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chelsea Football Club were furious when Ivan Ibañez was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Pingos Futbol Club booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gogo Arias came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Pingos Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hermengildo Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pingos Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Frisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Vachon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Javier Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Chelsea Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Edorta couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Chelsea Football Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
