Saul Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Madaleno in the 40th minute of the match. Aurelio Resto charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Resto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Resto. Pablo Clemencin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benedicto Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Jakobe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Arturo Madaleno made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
