Hector Txartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Munio in the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Amador Gustau got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of DESTROY booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Eloy Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Txartiko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rogelio Munio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Jakobe in the 24th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Hector Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Txartiko made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rogelio Munio sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, DESTROY's Fernando Michael got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Independiente booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Maria to maneuver through the defense. Hector Txartiko was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Rogelio Munio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogelio Munio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Jakobe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Amador Gustau. In the 52nd minute of the match Eloy Jakobe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Txartiko skillfully saved the ball. Teodoro Hermon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Txartiko having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Romulo Harriet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DESTROY and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Hermon. Teobaldo Casomiro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Romulo Harriet was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Genaro Maria got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Fernando Michael hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Teodoro Hermon's late challenge caught a Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Hermon helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DESTROY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
