The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Abel Dimas put in a rough tackle. 11 minutes into the game, Alejo Lop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Fasano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaqueteros FC the free kick. Alejo Lop hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vaqueteros FC's Abelardo Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Romeo Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Jokin in the 17th minute of play. Romeo Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vaqueteros FC's Inocencio Gauargi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Tobias Tono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Fasano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Juan Bieito kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Claris in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Xacintu saved Defensores de Fasano from getting behind. Romeo Dorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Jokin in the 44th minute of play. Gabriel Jokin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romeo Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Claris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Defensores de Fasano's Esteve Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Claris in the 53rd minute of play. Vaqueteros FC's Eugenio Cugat got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Bieito hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Tobias Tono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Dorio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Defensores de Fasano's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Fanuco came free, but Esteve Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Fasano's Bernardo Cruz was substituted for Godfredo Indartsu. Ivan Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Vaqueteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Claris. Dario Suarez's late challenge caught a Defensores de Fasano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. Dario Suarez hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Romeo Dorio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 83 minutes into the match, Defensores de Fasano's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Cugat came free, but Esteve Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Eugenio Cugat advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-2 in the 85th minute. Honorio Tono hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A collision led to Vaqueteros FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fernan Lohitzun hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Romeo Dorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Raphael. Eugenio Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Defensores de Fasano played a much better game than Vaqueteros FC and deserved their victory. The Vaqueteros FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
