Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Lázaro Ayala made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 minutes, Genaro Mederi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LTA FC and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Independiente booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ariel Cisco fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Ariel Cisco a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Pacorro came free, but Roberto Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Oliverio came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Amado Pacorro. But to his dismay, Amado Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Jesco came free, but Roberto Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Independiente's Eliseo Ongile got control of the ball when Gaudencio Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Orlanda. 15 minutes into the game, Amado Pacorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roberto Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Genaro Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. LTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Amado Pacorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roberto Oliverio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Ongile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Genaro Iliana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 25 minute of play. Independiente's Eliseo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ayala in the 33rd minute of play. Zeledon Orlanda hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the game, Generoso Inocente landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Zeledon Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LTA FC's protests and gave Zeledon Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. 47 minutes into the game, Independiente's Amado Pacorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Oliverio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Pacorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Arturo Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Jesco couldn't finish the play. After 60 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Iliana. Independiente made a substitution. Teodosio Faron replaced Teobaldo Casomiro. The supporters of Independiente booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente's Eliseo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Cisco in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match LTA FC got a corner. Independiente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ariel Cisco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliseo Ongile despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Amado Pacorro hit a great ball. LTA FC's Hipolito Batista was substituted for Ariel Cisco. Eliseo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Batista in the 77th minute of the match. Eliseo Ongile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Batista went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Roberto Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gabriel Carlomagno sent off a good shot on target. Roberto Oliverio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amado Pacorro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 85 minute of play. When LTA FC's Hipolito Batista in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Unax. Independiente's Arturo Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Independiente had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
