The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amadeo Frutos hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes, Vinicio Frederik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abasto fútbol club and the Defensores de Fasano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Abasto fútbol club's Vinicio Frederik got a free kick in the 20th minute. Teo Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Xacintu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Fasano's Tobias Tono slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herminio Rufio. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores de Fasano's Marcial Opilano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herminio Rufio. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Defensores de Fasano's Herminio Rufio threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eloy Gimenez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Jokin came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herminio Rufio could save by the left post. 41 minutes into the match, Marcial Opilano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Rufio. Abasto fútbol club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Opilano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Herminio Rufio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 48th minute Americo Onbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Lluis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Americo Onbera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Esteve Xacintu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Americo Onbera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Xacintu having to interfere. Teo Lluis charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Lluis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Defensores de Fasano made a substitution. Bernardo Cruz replaced Ivan Gutierrez. In the 64th match minute, Abasto fútbol club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Lluis to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Esteve Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Teo Lluis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Onbera in the 90th minute of play forced Defensores de Fasano's goalkeeper Esteve Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Rufio having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abasto fútbol club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Defensores de Fasano.
