Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gervasio Faro kicked off to start the match. Claudio Chico scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Frasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute of the match Haroldo Gorri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Frasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nunez Danel fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Nunez Danel a yellow card for diving instead. Pascual Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 23rd play minutes Gervasio Faro shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gustavo Frasco and just under the crossbar into goal. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by MDQ Raptors FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nunez Danel was slow to take the kick. During this time Yaji FC's players had a chance to rest. Alberto Niguel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Faro in the 34th minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Adan Peruanton hit a great ball. MDQ Raptors FC's Gustavo Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Faro in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Yaji FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Norino was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, one of MDQ Raptors FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gustavo Frasco went to the wrong direction when Nunez Danel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gervasio Faro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gustavo Frasco made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Faro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Frasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 65 minutes, Adolfo Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Raymundo in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Sergio Guifre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Gudesteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Segundo Clis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Nunez Danel got in the 77th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Gustavo Frasco. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-3. Candido Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Raymundo in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Evelio Tauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yaji FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MDQ Raptors FC the free kick. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adan Peruanton hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Norino in the 86th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Norino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Gudesteo. Yaji FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Norino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a rather tough play, MDQ Raptors FC's Tomas Pio got a free kick in the 97th minute. Yaji FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
