The corner ended in Alfonso Berto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo did a great save. Candido Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Kismi in the 8th minute of the match. Roberto Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Gudesteo having to interfere. When Adolfo Cordera fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Adolfo Cordera a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Cordera kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Garaona came free, but Candido Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Paublo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Claudio Chico sent off a good shot on target. Tello AFC's Justino Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Gorri to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Claudio Chico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Paublo, 1-0. Gervasio Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Donato Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Chico came free, but Donato Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
