Natalio Indar helped the player get up and apologised. 42 minutes into the game, Isaac Perrando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acratas Unidos the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Teodoro Eladio was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Haroldo Erruki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Erruki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Teodoro Eladio got control of the ball when Haroldo Erruki tried to sneak it across the goal line.
