Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Acratas Unidos's Rolando Medina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Celedonio Leoncio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo. Candido Gudesteo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the game, Acratas Unidos's Rolando Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Candido Gudesteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 10 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Medina came free, but Candido Gudesteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Medina scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Candido Gudesteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ernesto Ramond fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acratas Unidos's protests and gave Ernesto Ramond a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Acratas Unidos got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Ramond. When Adolfo Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Yaji FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Cordera couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Gudesteo having to interfere. Candido Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Medina's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Adolfo Cordera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Ramond in the 38th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Acratas Unidos were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gervasio Faro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Acratas Unidos's Nereo Pancho got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Adolfo Cordera got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Haroldo Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Candido Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Medina in the 75th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Candido Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Acratas Unidos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nereo Pancho hit a great ball. If Rolando Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute Rolando Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Gorri. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Acratas Unidos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
