Victorio Cordairo started the match with the kick off. Teodoro Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jose Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodoro Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Artizar in the 10th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Martin Palermo F.C.! Martin Palermo F.C.:s Teodoro Eladio showed great skill when he stopped Jose Artizar:s penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Artizar in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Eladio saved Martin Palermo F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Anjullan AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Jose Artizar notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Martin Palermo F.C.'s Teodoro Eladio. Teodoro Eladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Artizar scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Eladio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Guido Orlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Artizar in the 33rd minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodoro Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Artizar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Eladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Eladio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Artizar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 41st play minutes Jose Artizar shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Teodoro Eladio and just under the crossbar into goal. Teodoro Eladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Artizar went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Perrando made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Caetano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Artizar got free with Teodoro Eladio in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Cordairo in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teodoro Eladio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Victorio Cordairo scored to the left of an out of position Teodoro Eladio, making the score, 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Ibar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teodoro Eladio. That made the score 1-8 in the 95 minute of play. The Anjullan AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
