Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Estudiantes de América's Silvano Guib started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Guib in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Rolando Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Lauaxeta. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Lauaxeta got free with Rolando Erasto in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Sixto Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Guib. The supporters of C. S. Peron y Belgrano booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Inge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Erasto. Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francisco Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Francisco Gutierrez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Silvano Guib. But to his dismay, Silvano Guib quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Francisco Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Balesio in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, C. S. Peron y Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Inge to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes, Estudiantes de América's Eustacio Rito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Gutierrez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes de América reached it. Fermin Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Eustacio Rito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Gutierrez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Francisco Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Balesio in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustin Caton to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Agustin Caton sped through Estudiantes de América's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Erasto. Francisco Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Balesio in the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Marciano Precioso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the C. S. Peron y Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marciano Precioso hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Ciro Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Illart during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Higinio Illart got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Rito in the 70th minute of play forced C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalkeeper Francisco Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sixto Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Erasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustacio Rito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francisco Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustacio Rito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 84th minute. Delmiro Inge hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Estudiantes de América's Eustacio Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Balesio in the 92nd minute of play forced C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goalkeeper Francisco Gutierrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C. S. Peron y Belgrano booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Estudiantes de América could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. S. Peron y Belgrano throughout the match.
