Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Yaji FC's Gervasio Faro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Yaji FC defense, Octavio Bitxintxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Candido Gudesteo. The Yaji FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Gudesteo should have stopped the shot. Claudio Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Claudio Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Arlo to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Gervasio Faro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto. Rolando Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Faro struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rolando Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaji FC. Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Faro in the 21st minute of play. Rolando Erasto stood somewhat misplaced when Gervasio Faro came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Rolando Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Chico in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Precioso during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Orlan. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Nunez Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Danel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Erasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Chico in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Orlan. Nunez Danel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gervasio Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Errapel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Norberto Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Quiroga hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Yaji FC's Nunez Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Faro in the 63rd minute of play. When Gervasio Faro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Gervasio Faro a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Faro. Yaji FC's Gervasio Faro got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Gervasio Faro off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Gervasio Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Candido Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Candido Gudesteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Guib in the 79th minute. In the 85th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. Elias Ospetsu's shot from long distance in the 86th minute was not bad at all, but Yaji FC's Candido Gudesteo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. There was no doubt that Yaji FC were the better team. Yaji FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
