Fabio Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Saturnino Mikolas's late challenge caught a C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Mikolas helped the player get up and apologised. Flavio Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Xabier in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Pietro to maneuver through the defense. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Flavio Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Xabier in the 21st minute of play. Isidro Jakes's late challenge caught a Sportivo Fernet Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sportivo Fernet Branca booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Cirilo Pietro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sportivo Fernet Branca's Paolo Eduino. Paolo Eduino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! 43 minutes into the game, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Pedro Rufo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Garin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Artemio Salomon got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Pietro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Segundo Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Segundo Delfino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Eduino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Millan came free, but Flavio Garin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Valentin Oinaz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's protests and gave Valentin Oinaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sportivo Fernet Branca getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sixto Xabier hit a great ball. Segundo Delfino charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Delfino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Segundo Delfino got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Artemio Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Garin. The goal made the score 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Fabio Hanni broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Isidro Jakes hit a great ball. Flavio Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Mazuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Paolo Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Pietro in the 71st minute of play. Valentin Oinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Pietro in the 75th minute of play forced Sportivo Fernet Branca's goalkeeper Paolo Eduino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Sportivo Fernet Branca got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Hanni. Alfredo Mazuste received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Garin came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Mazuste slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 86th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Dante Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dante Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Ulises Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Fernet Branca the free kick. Ulises Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
