Uriel Rik hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Neron during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 15 minutes into the game, Meti Gol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filiberto Iratzeder. Meti Gol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Meti Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Real Racing Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erling Jering hit a great ball. The supporters of Real Racing Club booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Neron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Remicio's late challenge caught a Los Gallos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Remicio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Remicio to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Fernando Osoitz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real Racing Club's Nacho Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Erling Jering notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los Gallos's Filiberto Iratzeder. Filiberto Iratzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Nunez Larpe got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Los Gallos's Basilio Aureo got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Gaudencio Lixandro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Iratzeder skillfully saved the ball. In the 47th minute Fernando Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meti Gol made a kick off. Gaudencio Lixandro's late challenge caught a Los Gallos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Lixandro helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Real Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Lixandro. In the 53rd minute, one of Real Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Racing Club. The goalkeeper, Nacho Gonzalez, was totally fooled by Los Gallos's Fernando Osoitz, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 58 minutes of play, Los Gallos's Valentin Neron made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nacho Gonzalez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Corderun to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Los Gallos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fernando Osoitz hit a great ball. The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Jering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Racing Club's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Neron in the 77th minute of play. Gaudencio Lixandro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Valentin Neron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Los Gallos fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Los Gallos's Fernando Osoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Fernando Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Gallos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Osoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Meti Gol got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Real Racing Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Gallos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Gallos.
