After 28 minutes of play, Real Racing Club's Erling Jering made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angel Quiroga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meti Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ☬彡Lo多o Entrerriano彡☬ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Constantino Macias hit a great ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Erling Jering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erling Jering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Larpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Angel Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Meti Gol made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Meti Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Quiroga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Racing Club's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Calisto in the 56th minute of play. Justino Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nacho Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nunez Larpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Quiroga was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Justino Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Racing Club's Generoso Firme got a free kick in the 81st minute. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Justino Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nacho Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Meti Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Quiroga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meti Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. The ☬彡Lo多o Entrerriano彡☬ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
