Ramiro Marra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Claudio Dantel made a huge save. With his leg Claudio Dantel managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Super Penalitop's Alejo Olivar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claudio Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Florentino Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Marra in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Marra got free with Claudio Dantel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Frasco in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Marra came free, but Claudio Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Adornio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Dantel saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. When Super Penalitop's Manuel Adornio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Maquina 9-12-18's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Manuel Adornio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La Maquina 9-12-18's Claudio Dantel. Claudio Dantel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Izotz made a kick off. If Manuel Adornio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teobaldo Muno's late challenge caught a Super Penalitop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Muno helped the player get up and apologised. Teobaldo Muno hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Teo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Adornio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Baldomero Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Marra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Adornio came free, but Claudio Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Manuel Adornio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Dantel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 87 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Iban. Claudio Dantel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Adornio's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Manuel Adornio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Penalitop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Adornio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute of the match, Baldomero Frasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Berto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. La Maquina 9-12-18's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
