When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Omar Ralondo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Gabrio. In the 16th minute, Omar Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Ralondo in the 20th minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Batista in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Gabrio saved Curumalán AFC from getting behind. Geronimo Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Ralondo in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Omar Ralondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Gabrio was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Cristian Quinto made the kick off in the second half.
