An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Errando in the 25th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Alfredo Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Bermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Bermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Daniel Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Jerano to make the kick off. Martin Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Fertus having to interfere. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Simon Baumar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Fertus. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Baumar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alejandro Ciano took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Txilar. Alfredo Txilar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. El Fortín de Floresta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
