After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Bernardo Gonsalve got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 20 minutes, Teodoro Jerrald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gutenberg and the Deportivo Mandiyu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodoro Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Nestor Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Anaya in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Peruanton to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Jesus Pereyra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Javier Franco. Delmar Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Gutenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Anaya came free, but Sebastian Rojelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gutenberg's zone, Federico Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Rojelio came out of the goal and Federico Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Bruno Arotza replaced Marcial Maju. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Lucio Mateo replaced Ermegildo Francesco. Deportivo Mandiyu's Delmar Quintin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Mandiyu from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Eladio in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Eladio in the 71st minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sebastian Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
