Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) When Gaudencio Eron came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Eron couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Nestor Ritchie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Nafarroa came out of the goal and Nestor Ritchie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Peruanton came free, but Jaime Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Gutenberg's Nestor Ritchie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jaime Nafarroa. Jaime Nafarroa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Peruanton in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Nafarroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Gutenberg fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Gutenberg's Fausto Peruanton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaudencio Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteve Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Cecilio Txordon got a free kick in the 27th minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Gallardeta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cecilio Txordon was slow to take the kick. During this time Gutenberg's players had a chance to rest. Fausto Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jaime Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gutenberg's Faustino Pedroso got a free kick in the 39th minute. Fausto Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Gutenberg's Esteve Videl got control of the ball when Eliseo Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jaime Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gutenberg's Cristobal Fliz was substituted for Jesus Pereyra. After 63 played minutes Gutenberg got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Umbruso. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nestor Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Egoitz's late challenge caught a Gutenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Egoitz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Fausto Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Fausto Peruanton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Narciso Matteo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gutenberg's Cristobal Fliz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Fausto Peruanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Nafarroa. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Gallardeta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gutenberg.
