When Jimeno Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sajones F.C.'s protests and gave Jimeno Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajones F.C.'s Fidel Bingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Anaya in the 20th minute of play. Fidel Bingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fidel Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. German Arnas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Moises Hartz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sajones F.C.'s Fidel Bingen didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Sajones F.C.'s zone, Federico Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Bingen came out of the goal and Federico Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Eladio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Bingen having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Eladio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 minutes of play Sajones F.C.'s Jimeno Salomone was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Ongile in the 36th minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Fidel Bingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Berbiz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. Aurelio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Delmar Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Acosta in the 41st minute of the match. Rafael Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fidel Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arsenio Jerardo hit a great ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Nunez Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sajones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nunez Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Quintin having to interfere. Delmar Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Federico Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Maximo Sidro got a free kick in the 64th minute. Deportivo Mandiyu's Delmar Quintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Gonzales in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Moises Hartz hit a great ball. Sajones F.C.'s Leonides Ordono was substituted for Nunez Quinteros. Moises Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu's Ruben Mendez was substituted for Laureano Eladio. Federico Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Bingen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Arsenio Jerardo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Clemente Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Delmar Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sajones F.C.. Ruben Mendez's late challenge caught a Sajones F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Ruben Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Clemente Gonzales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Quintin. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Quintin should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Leonides Ordono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sajones F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Ordono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sajones F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
