When Baldomero Stephen fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Bichineta's protests and gave Baldomero Stephen a yellow card for diving instead. If Feliciano Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Jordy made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Valentin Francho sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Cristobal Bero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Jordy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bendito Sea El Fernet's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niceto Lluciano in the 31st minute. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save La Bichineta from getting a goal against them. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Fabio Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Valentin Francho made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Jordy. La Bichineta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Matias Florinio got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Francho to make the kick off. Fernan Mateo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Firman having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Isauro in the 54th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Nemesio Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bendito Sea El Fernet's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moises Pereyra was slow to take the kick. During this time La Bichineta's players had a chance to rest. Agustin Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nemesio Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernan Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Firman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Modesto Mark got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Lluciano in the 92nd minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Eduardo Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
