If Jaime Kauldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Bruno Seguinus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the Rejunte de perros players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Guzman in the 21st minute of play. When Blas Firme came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Rejunte de perros fans jumped to their feet. Erasmo Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Vicente Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Firme, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Gonzalez was the one to do the kick off.
