The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Clemencin came free, but Aaron Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino D'Alessandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aaron Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Eliu in the 18th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Aaron Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cesar Lauro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacro Balompié's protests and gave Cesar Lauro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Cesar Lauro got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Clemencin in the 24th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Aaron Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacro Balompié were furious when Maximiliano Chepe was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Maximiliano Chepe hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Raimundo Maidana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Eliu in the 30th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Aaron Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alejandra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Medero was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacro Balompié's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gaudencio Medero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Pablo Comizzo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aaron Bernad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Jakobe kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Julian Itzaina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Bernad skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Leguizamón to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Leguizamón came free, but Juan Pablo Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Nabar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Eliu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Bernad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Bikendi during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Samuel Bikendi got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Bernardino D'Alessandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Bernad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Eliu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Aaron Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Reynaldo Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Pablo Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Clemencin got free with Aaron Bernad in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Samuel Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacro Balompié's Emanuel Tonete was substituted for Genaro Jakobe. A collision led to Sacro Balompié getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Samuel Bikendi hit a great ball. Reynaldo Clemencin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Aaron Bernad made a huge save. If Genaro Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Juan Pablo Comizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Domingos Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Bernad made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Reynaldo Clemencin sent off a good shot on target. The Sacro Balompié support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
