An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Reyes in the 10th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Oinatz came free, but Arnaldo Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match La Candela FC got a corner. Terremoto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Iturri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Sotero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Raitin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Taurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Cordarius came free, but Arnaldo Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Terremoto FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Terremoto FC's Enrique Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 89 minutes, Lucas Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Candela FC and the Terremoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Constantino Cordarius hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Enrique Bento took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Edgard Guillen to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Terremoto FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Candela FC throughout the match.
