After 17 minutes of play, Cremonese's Sixto Ralondo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Maura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horacio Vitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Firmo in the 21st minute of play. In the 29th minute Prudencio Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes, Israel Brais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZORZAL01 and the Cremonese players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Israel Brais got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Everardo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Lázaro Darien hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 42nd minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Mauricio Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 44 minutes on the clock, Godfredo Bartolome commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Ostargi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauricio Maura. That made the score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Ostargi to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ambrosio Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZORZAL01's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Misael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Vitin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ZORZAL01's Mauricio Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ostargi in the 71st minute of play. In the 85th match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Calvino to maneuver through the defense. Israel Brais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Horacio Vitin made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Apolo Dalmau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ZORZAL01's zone, Teodosio Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Maura came out of the goal and Teodosio Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Txema's late challenge caught a ZORZAL01's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Txema helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victorio Txema hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ambrosio Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot.
