The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abelardo Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Nuno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Los Podridos ll's Zacarias Frisco got a free kick in the 5th minute. Anacleto Janpier hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Abelardo Berriotxoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hilario Nuno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Aguilera came free, but Eriberto Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Juvenal took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Nuno. Hilario Nuno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Los Podridos ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Tobias Cibran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Sindo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Lisandro Goi sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Hilario Nuno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Los Podridos ll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Juvenal in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Hilario Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Cibran hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Hilario Aguilera made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Jeronimo Pudes made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Nuno. Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Aguilera in the 69th minute of play. Anacleto Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Sindo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Jeronimo Pudes took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Hilario Nuno to make any attempt to save it. Hilario Nuno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Aguilera in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Sindo saved Deportivo Diamante U18 from getting behind. In the 81stth minute of the game Hilario Aguilera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Diamante U18's Eriberto Sindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Diamante U18 played a much better game than Los Podridos ll and deserved their victory. The Los Podridos ll players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
