After some careless play in the Waitakere F.C. defense, Nacho Manuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Nazario. The Waitakere F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Nazario should have stopped the shot. Mateo Marin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haroldo Cresencio. Shuspendemo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Mateo Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Haroldo Cresencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Manuel in the 22nd minute of play. If Guido Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Guido Carrillo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Waitakere F.C. made a substitution. Arnoldo Oliviero replaced Tomas Unai. In the 33rd minute, Guido Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Haroldo Cresencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Manuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Nicanor Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Cresencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nacho Manuel was the one to do the kick off. Nacho Manuel took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Nazario. Sergio Nazario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 60 minutes, Nicanor Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waitakere F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Tiadoro during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shuspendemo made a substitution. Leandro Chuse replaced Honorato Quentin. In the 69th match minute, Waitakere F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Manuel in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnoldo Oliviero charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Oliviero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Waitakere F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Oliviero. In the 77th minute Gaudencio Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Guido Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shuspendemo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Carrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Nacho Manuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Sergio Nazario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nacho Manuel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Nazario having to make a save. Haroldo Cresencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
