The supporters of Seven Tempest FC booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Llul didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nando Carradelo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seven Tempest FC's protests and gave Nando Carradelo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seven Tempest FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Taltum FC's Valencia Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Vizcarra in the 12th minute of play. Raimundo Vasco's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Seven Tempest FC's Raimundo Vasco got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xines Herriaga in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaizko Gao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Edson Berinduaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taltum FC and the Seven Tempest FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xines Herriaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaizko Gao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Gonzalo Vizcarra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valencia Cifuentes. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The coaching staff of Taltum FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edson Berinduaga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch.
