In the 9th minute Reinaldo Pagueguy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizko Gao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ariano Soffia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrabases de Victoria's protests and gave Ariano Soffia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Barrabases de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariano Soffia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Seven Tempest FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Raimundo Vasco hit a great ball. Seven Tempest FC's Gaizko Gao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Pagueguy in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Soffia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Seven Tempest FC's Juan-Carlos Ucedo was substituted for Urtsin Cadrecha. After a rather tough play, Barrabases de Victoria's Ariano Soffia got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Pagueguy in the 26th minute of play forced Seven Tempest FC's goalkeeper Gaizko Gao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Vizcarra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gaizko Gao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrán Andueza in the 28th minute of the match. Orlondón Berroeta charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlondón Berroeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Ferrán Andueza came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Barrabases de Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferrán Andueza couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Pagueguy struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gaizko Gao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrabases de Victoria. After a rather tough play, Seven Tempest FC's Estevam Cardona got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Nicasio Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Reinaldo Pagueguy made the kick off in the second half. Gaizko Gao was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Reinaldo Pagueguy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Reinaldo Pagueguy really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Juan-Carlos Ucedo lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Barrabases de Victoria's Ferrán Andueza made a sure 0-2 on penalty. Reinaldo Pagueguy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Gaizko Gao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Barrabases de Victoria's Reinaldo Pagueguy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaizko Gao. Gaizko Gao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Barrabases de Victoria's Pacífico Azcue was substituted for Nicasio Quintero. In the 77th minute, Raimundo Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Barrabases de Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Malaree to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Canitrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paco Polanco went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Barrabases de Victoria's Pedro José Videla was substituted for Reinaldo Pagueguy. A collision led to Barrabases de Victoria getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Salomón Mioño hit a great ball. Barrabases de Victoria's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
