Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Rolando Ortiz made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Zebolla FC booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Zebolla FC defense, Jorge Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacarias Cotes. The Zebolla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacarias Cotes should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Cotes was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Marcelo Alfaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Alfaro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 18th minute, Tiago Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Zebolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Comas to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Cotes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Jimenez in the 24th minute of play forced Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cotes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zebolla FC's zone, Julio Villacorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Cotes came out of the goal and Julio Villacorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rolando Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Real Madrid de Guatemala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Rolando Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zacarias Cotes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Zacarias Cotes made a huge save. Shawn Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sayvion Alegria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulgencio Comas was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karlos Gaviria during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Karlos Gaviria. 52 minutes into the match, Zebolla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Villacorta came free, but Zacarias Cotes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Zebolla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Durazno to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Adolfo Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Cotes. Zebolla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Ortiz in the 63rd minute of play forced Zebolla FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Cotes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelo Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Madrid de Guatemala made a substitution. Mauro Sosa replaced Julio Villacorta. In the 80th minute, Jorge Pimentel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Zacarias Cotes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Ortiz in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Cotes saved Zebolla FC from getting behind. Zebolla FC's Zacarias Cotes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Ortiz in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Iigo Limofer. Marcelo Alfaro scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Cotes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zebolla FC's Zacarias Cotes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pimentel in the 95th minute of play. Zacarias Cotes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Duarte in the 97th minute of play. Real Madrid de Guatemala's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
