Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivan Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Ivan Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Cagle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammed Cagle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Villacorta, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Shawn Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odell McPherson in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Real Madrid de Guatemala booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Darby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Villacorta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohammed Cagle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Odell McPherson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Ramos in the 22nd minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Mohammed Cagle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ramos came free, but Mohammed Cagle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odell McPherson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Odell McPherson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ramos came free, but Mohammed Cagle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Sosa's late challenge caught a S.D. Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Sosa helped the player get up and apologised. Mauro Sosa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Odell McPherson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shawn Cruz. Real Madrid de Guatemala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Odell McPherson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 44th minute, Lenny Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohammed Cagle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odell McPherson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. S.D. Bajen's Mohammed Cagle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Villacorta in the 51st minute of play. Mohammed Cagle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 57 minutes, Devon Pollard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. Bajen and the Real Madrid de Guatemala players grew even worse after the yellow card. Devon Pollard kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Enrique Padilla was substituted for Manuel Flores. Mohammed Cagle made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rolando Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Clinton Starnes got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Alberto Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Cagle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odell McPherson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Jimenez got free with Mohammed Cagle in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Odell McPherson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With 91 minutes on the clock, Christian Alvarado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for S.D. Bajen! In the 93rd minute, Julio Villacorta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid de Guatemala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Julio Villacorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Cagle came out of the goal and Julio Villacorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
